The Top 10 Lady Gaga Awards Show Performances Of All Time (Part 2)
September 9, 2011 by Scott Finley
The wait is finally over! After careful consideration, we have chosen our top five Lady Gaga awards show performances of all time.
The top five contain some of Gaga’s most incredible, iconic, and controversial moments. (If you missed the first part of the countdown, you can find it here.) Some of our choices will seem obvious, but others will surprise you.
We chose not to rank these performances according entertainment factor alone. Rather, we decided to make Gaga’s message and mission as a pop revolutionary our primary factor in ranking her performances. Remember, Lady Gaga is as much an avant-garde performance artist with a social conscience as she is a commercial pop singer and, in the spirit of Gagaism, we wanted to create a countdown that was true to Gaga’s values and mission as an artist.
With these things in mind, let’s get on with the countdown!

And now we’ll be able to help her music selection grow and change right along with her. Listening to Internet radio is a breeze for anyone who’s familiar with the World Wide Web.
Having had my nearby store shut down recently I looked around for another
place where I could get my gear from but unfortunately could not find any good outlets
even remotely close to my home so started looking online.
With internet radio, you get pretty much what you want,
when you want. This is true simulation of the traditional transmission of radio and television programs, as it is
only a station house music on your PC. You can
see if any of your Facebook friends are listening by clicking on
the Facebook link on the bottom right.
This helps business managers to determine what the
general public thinks about their products or services.
There are hundreds of people working in foreign aid missions, expats, Peace Corps, and others in relief and business sectors.
Back in the day, people had little choice but to take what was given to them as their
“lot in life.
I am going to make sure that I pass this website
through to my pals and colleagues. I appreciate
all your hard work to write this. What kind of plans
for your next post?
Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with
hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing
several weeks of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any methods
to stop hackers?
Sorry to hear you were hacked. I would recommend checking with your web hosting service. Most of them have some sort of service (something a third-party service they send you to) to protect against hackers. It’s not always free though. The best tip I can give you is to back up your site’s data regularly. You can do it manually (hard to explain how here but there are lots of guides online) or, again, you may find that your web host offers a backup service that regularly backs up all your data for you.
I every time spent my half an hour to read this blog’s posts all the time along with a mug of coffee.
After I originally left a comment I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me
when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever
a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment.
Perhaps there is a means you can remove me from that service?
Appreciate it!
Yikes! I’m sorry to hear that. As far as I know, we don’t have an email notification service for new comments on our site. We have that for forum posts, and to undo that you simply visit the forum you subscribed to and unsubscribe. That said, we used to use the Disqus comments system, and that did indeed have a box you could check to be notified of new comments. However, that is run through Disqus itself and you would have to check your Disqus account (at Disqus.com) to get that resolved if that’s an issue. This is the first I’ve ever heard of anyone having such an issue with our site though. Since we no longer use Disqus, they shouldn’t be sending anyone updates on our comments. Let me know if you keep having this issue. Anyone else having this problem?
I could not resiѕt commenting. Very well written!
With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d really appreciate it.
Here and there, yes. The best thing you can do is write to those plagiarizing your work and ask them to remove it or give you credit. (Legally, at least with US law, they are not supposed to even reprint it anywhere without your permission, even if they do give you credit, but it’s up to you how to handle that.) If they don’t comply, you can file a complaint with the DMCA. As for preventing your work from being used without your permission in the first place, there’s not much you can do unfortunately.
I love this list, but, i think that the performance for the Royal Variety was flawless. Definetly should be here, somwhere.

I love the list! I especially appreciate the incisive and instructive commentary as to why you ranked an award performance. I’m sorry I didn’t know about your site just recently. Question–that Gaga wikipedia needs some serious updating in the BTW era, not even listing the Japan MTV aid performance. Since you appear to be VERY tech savvy and a great writer/analyst, do you know how to edit/add to Wikipedia. I don’t even know how to do twitter, LOL!
Thanks so much for all your hard work!
I don’t know how to edit Wikipedia, but I can find out. Gagapedia is such a great resource but I agree that it really ought to be updated. I’ll ask around and see if anyone knows how to edit it, or else I’ll just have to figure it out myself! =)
Thank you so much for the compliments! It really doesn’t feel like work at all. It’s the most positive, wonderful thing in the world to be able to write about Gaga and interact with other monsters. Gaga has the most incredible, good-hearted fanbase in the world, by far.
The site is less than two months old, so a lot of people have yet to discover it. The response has been great so far though. We’re getting a lot more traffic each week than the week before and we plan to expand the writing staff soon.
So wonderful to hear @Jarraxe that this is such a young site, it’s so sophisticated. I’m so blessed to find this page and very heartened that you’re gaining followers and even have to expand the writing staff, that’s wonderful news! Been reporting to the Gaga Daily followers about your site, so hopefully they will follow!
Yes, the Lady Gaga wikipedia STILL shows the Sydney Hall performance for the BTW era, and the Katy Perry Wikipedia is totally updated to reflect her 6th single release, TOTGA. I really don’t know what’s going on as I’m 100% sure that Gaga has many more loyal and devoted fans than Perry (I’m not hating, just stating the facts).
I’m going to do research into how to post Wikipedia info b/c Gaga page getting really old!
The first half of this, where she is at the piano, is one of her most touching performances. I’m not sure the audience totally got it though, they were expecting a big dance number ;o)
I totally agree with you. When I played this, my friend was wondering why Gaga was singing Jazz! I love this rendition of Telephone, she seems to be the only singer who sounds better live, acoustic, just her and her piano than the studio version! Very touching and moving tribute to Alexander McQueen, RIP.
