Rolling Stone has implemented a fantastic new feature on its site referred to as the “Lady Gaga Timeline.” Everything Rolling Stone has compiled on Lady Gaga-news, reviews, videos, interviews-is now organized on the timeline, presented in a convenient, reverse chronological format that can be sorted in a variety of ways.

For ARTPOP, Gagaism will be focusing much more on in-depth features and unique and less on up to the minute news coverage, so we were thrilled to learn of the timeline, which we hope can keep your hunger for the latest Gaga news sated while we work hard on revamping the site and bringing you exclusive new content.

Check out the Lady Gaga Timeline at http://www.rollingstone.com/music/artists/lady-gaga and let us know what you think!

Lady Gaga Scores 12th Consecutive #1 Dance Hit with ‘Marry The Night’

January 14, 2012 in News/Announcements by Scott Finley

“Despite being the first of Lady Gaga’s singles to ever miss the prestigious top ten mark on the Billboard Hot 100, “Marry The Night” has granted Gaga another milestone to celebrate. This week, “Night” vaulted to the top spot on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play chart, becoming Gaga’s twelfth consecutive number one on the chart in less than three years, the most of any artist in that span of time according to Billboard.com.” via Technorati.

NEW: Gagaism.org Forums and Social Network

November 1, 2011 in News, News/Announcements by Gagaism.org

We’ve added new functionality to Gagaism.org that finally allows our readers to come together as a community!

The first, most obvious addition is the brand-new forums. Anyone registered and logged in to the site (you can register and log in on the far-right side of the top menu) can open a new topic or comment in existing topics. Registration is easy. Simply fill out your name and e-mail and create a password for yourself. That’s it! Your password and e-mail are 100% private and will not be shared with anyone under any circumstances.

Once registered, not only can you use the forums (and comment on articles without having to enter your name and e-mail every time), but you can also create a profile for yourself and make friends! This is entirely optional, but very fun. We have created a fully-functioning social network where you can post updates, chat with friends, and leave each other messages. There are also privacy settings that allow you to decide what, if anything, on your profile is visible to to non-members.

To get the ball rolling, we’ve created the forums’ first topic: What do you think of our new forums and social network? Drop on in and give us your feedback! See you there!

Welcome back to The Week in Gaga, written for those who like to keep up with the latest Gaga news, but hate wading through the hundreds of fluff stories written about her each week. The Week in Gaga brings you the most relevant and interesting Gaga news of the week, broken down into concise recaps.

  • Lady Gaga’s upcoming remix album, Born This Way – The Remix, is now available for pre-sale on Amazon. Set for release on November 21, the 14-track collection will include remixes of various Born This Way songs from artists such as Foster the People, Goldfrapp, Metronomy, and The  Horrors.
  • Details of Gaga’s upcoming “Marry the Night” music video have emerged thanks to some very determined little monsters, who managed to track Gaga down on Staten Island during the first day of shooting, and also because of the public nature of many of the shoot locations. In addition to Staten Island, Gaga has been spotted in Harlem on the roof of a building, writhing around on the hood of a car, and performing dance routines in the streets below with her backup dancers.
  • For months, Gaga and her stylist Nicola Formichetti have been working on “The Masterpice,” a fashion collaboration inspired by Gaga’s fans. Made up of a flowing dress and sky-high shoes featuring the faces of dozens of little monsters, Gaga finally unveiled the wearable artwork last week, modeling it in a short fashion film. In the clip, Gaga is portrayed as both primal and divine, and utterly bizarre. It’s worth a look, particularly if you’ve enjoyed Gaga’s exploration of surrealism thus far in the Born This Way album cycle.
  • The American Music Awards nominations have been announced, and Gaga is up for three awards including Favorite Female Artist: Pop or Rock Music, Favorite Album: Pop or Rock Music, and Artist of the Year. The AMAs will air on Sunday, November 20 at 8/7c on ABC. Gaga has not been announced as a performer yet, but early buzz suggests that she is at least toying with the idea. Click here to vote for Gaga!
  • V Magazine has published Lady Gaga’s fourth fashion column entry entitled, V Magazine Gaga Memorandum No. 4: Remodeling the Model. This particular entry chronicles the creation and emergence of Jo Calderone. Gaga explains how and why she created him, and what made her decide to have him perform in her place at this year’s MTV VMAs.  The full column can be read at V Magazine’s official website.
  • On Saturday, Gaga performed for President Clinton at his “Decade of Difference” charity concert. Gaga performed four numbers including her multi-platinum hits “Born This Way,” “The Edge of Glory,” and “Bad Romance” (changed to “Bill Romance” for the performance) as well as her current single “Yoü and I” which went platinum earlier this month. A full review of Gaga’s Clinton concert set can be found right here on Gagaism.org.

The next Week in Gaga update will premiere Monday at Technorati and can be found here the following day.
